Off-plan without the guesswork: AI video for property launches

Selling off-plan is selling an idea. The buyer pays a deposit on an apartment in a building that is still a hole in the ground in Kilimani, Syokimau, Ruaka or Nyali, and trusts that it will look like the brochure in two or three years.

That trust is fragile in Kenya, where buyers have heard stories of stalled projects and finishes that did not match the show flat. Good marketing for an off-plan launch has two jobs: make the future home vivid, and make the developer believable.

Show the life, not just the building

Renders of a tower against a blue sky are everywhere. What a buyer cannot picture is daily life: the morning light in the living room, the walk to the matatu stage or the school, the view from the balcony at sunset, the parking, the lift, the security desk.

A short video of each of these answers the question "Could I live there?" far better than a floor plan does.

How AI video helps, and where it must stop

Tari Studio can turn your architect's renders and site photos into short videos. Attach them, describe the scene, and get a quote showing the length, shape and credits before anything is made. How attachments work.

Two rules keep this honest:

  1. Label what is a visualisation. Put "Artist's impression" on screen whenever the video shows something not yet built. In Kenya's property market, that one line protects your reputation.
  2. Never upgrade the finishes. If the kitchen will have laminate counters, do not show marble. Build from your actual renders and specification, and check the result against them.

Explain the money simply

Most off-plan buyers want to know three things before they visit: the price, the payment plan and the completion date. Make a clear image ad for each unit type. For posters with numbers, pick Ideogram 4 (clear text) on the quote, then check every figure letter by letter. Why AI gets text wrong, and how we fix it.

Progress updates build trust

The most persuasive content for an off-plan project is not the launch ad. It is the monthly progress update: real photos from site, the slab poured, the third floor up. Turn each month's photos into a short clip and post it. Buyers who are hesitating watch these closely.

Reach the diaspora

Many off-plan buyers in Kenya live abroad. They cannot walk the site. Video matters even more for them, as do clear payment details and a contact who answers across time zones. Marketing Kenyan property to the diaspora.

From interest to site visit

End each video with one step: book a site visit, download the brochure, or chat on WhatsApp. A tracked WhatsApp link on each post shows which video brought each enquiry, so you know whether the balcony clip or the payment-plan poster is doing the selling. WhatsApp and leads.

Make your launch video.
