How credits work: what an AI ad costs before you make it

Nobody likes a surprise bill. Everything in the Studio is paid from one credit wallet, and you always see the cost before you spend anything.

The quote comes first

Describe what you want and the Studio answers with a quote: the kind of result, its length and shape, the model, and the credits it uses. Change the length, the model or the shape and the credits update. Nothing is charged until you press Generate.

The same is true elsewhere: Make pictures with AI on a character or template shows the credits and your balance, then waits for you to press Accept and make.

How the cost is worked out

  • Images cost a fixed number of credits each.
  • Videos cost a number of credits per started block of seconds, so a longer clip costs more.
  • Some models have their own rate. The quote always uses the rate of the model you picked.

Today's rates are on the pricing page, along with the shilling value of a credit at the pay-as-you-go rate.

What is free

  • Writing a script with /script
  • The AI director rewriting your words into a production prompt before each generation
  • Uploading pictures, clips and audio
  • What the Studio learns about your brand from your feedback

When a generation fails

If a generation fails or is blocked, its credits go straight back to your wallet, and the result card says so.

Plans and top-ups

Plans add credits every month, and credits never expire, so unused credits stay in your wallet if a plan ends. Top up any time by M-Pesa (a prompt on your phone) or by card, M-Pesa or Apple Pay on Paystack's secure page. We never ask for your PIN or card number on our own pages.

A tip for planning

Make one short version first. A 5-second test on the model you like costs a fraction of a 30-second final, and tells you whether the look is right before you commit.
